We're looking for three butchers to run BlockWorks with us first.
- Three months free, on the plan that suits you, with set-up included
- In return: honest feedback on a short weekly call, and a case study with your name on it if you're happy with it
- After three months it's the normal monthly price, still with no contract
We'll agree a start date with you once we've seen your price list.
Questions butchers ask
Do my customers have to change how they order?
No. They can keep phoning, texting, WhatsApping or emailing. The ordering site is there for the ones who want it. BlockWorks replaces your order book, not your relationships.
Whose customers and prices are they?
Yours. You set your prices, you invoice your customers direct and you keep the money. We don't take a cut of your orders.
Is there a contract?
No. You pay monthly, you can move between plans any month, and you can stop whenever you like.
What do I need to run it?
A computer for the office, and phones or a tablet for packing and the vans. There's nothing to install: BlockWorks runs in the web browser, and staff can add it to their home screen like an app.
What if I've more than 100 products?
The £95 set-up covers around 100 products in 6 categories. A bigger range takes longer to load, so it costs more, and we'll quote it before we start.
Does it work with my accounts?
Xero: export a file, or connect it and send invoices straight in. Sage 50: export a file. Most other packages can import a spreadsheet; tell us which one you use and we'll quote for an export.
Can you find me new trade customers as well?
That's a separate business of ours. Butchers Block Advisory introduces restaurants, pubs and caterers to independent butchers. You don't need BlockWorks to be introduced, and you don't need introductions to use BlockWorks.
